Purification (A Must-Know Step)

 Step 1: Access the Purification Tool

There are multiple ways of accessing the Purification calculator.

1. From the side Navigation Bar:

   • Open the side Navigation bar and scroll down to the Tools section..

   • Click on the “Purification calculator” tab under the tools section.

2. From Quick Links:

   • Scroll down to the Quick Links section at the bottom of the homepage .

   • Click on the Purification Calculator link to access it.

3. Direct Access:

Use this link to go directly to the calculator: Musaffa Purification Calculator.

Step 2: Enter Stock Details

1. Once on the Purification Page, input the necessary stock details, including:

   • Stock name or symbol.

   • Relevant transaction details.

2. The tool will calculate the purification amount for the stock.

Step 3: Follow the Guidance

The purification tool will provide details on the amount you need to cleanse to ensure your investment is Shariah-compliant.

Note: Purification can also be calculated for a connected brokerage account directly. For this, after a brokerage account is connected and the portfolio is updated with holdings properly, go to the ‘Purification’ tab to see the purification amount.
